Special Forces by AlexJJessup Special Forces by AlexJJessup
Near-future design for US special forces. Mostly focused on the goggles, making them more interesting and compact yet believable. Just maintained the design language throughout the rest of the body after that.

Thanks! Glad you like my stuff. I haven't been doing much personal work lately since I do this all day for a living. :P

Hey Alex

I'm doing a mod, based on this fantastic work of yours for Arma 3.
I would love it if you could answer a question.

the full face masks, would they flip up like normal NVGs or are they connected to the NV mount for extra security when worn? (as with a strap only they would likely slip down or wobble about, no?)

Honestly, flip-up NVGs are pretty solid, they don't wobble really. The thing that wobbles is the helmet, which they are attached to. A well fitted helmet that's tightly strapped on should be pretty solid even while running around.

Thanks for the info dude. Now I've got to figure out how the NVG models work in this game! ;)

I love this so much. I milsim as a hobby and I could assemble this halfway with real equipment, although some rigging is needed for the mesh and I have no idea how I'm going make the goggles.

But good luck to me making the Kriss Rifle there.

Question, when you state "flip mount" only the NG's flip, while face shield stays. Or does it all flip, because I can't tell of there is a separation from the NG's and the face shield.
